Gaggle flying takes place at the private Spruce Creek Fly-in each Saturday morning when the flights meet for a briefing at 08.00 and then fly-out for breakfast. Usually there are around 20 airplanes in some 5 or 6 separate flights.
On special event days, such as the annual Toy Parade, many more airplanes take to the skies - as many as 40 or more!
'GOOFY' led a 6-ship formation to second place in the formation flying competition at the Toy Parade 2005.

The Gaggle Flight has its own formation flight training syllabus based on military practice and the T34 / Swift 'FAST' manual.
